Unity Presbyterian, St. Margaret's Episcopal and Springs of Grace Lutheran churches will hold a joint Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret's Episcopal, 4180 Highway 9 in Boiling Springs.
The pastors and members of each church will be involved in some aspect of the ecumenical service, according to the Rev. Judson Merrell, pastor of Springs of Grace Lutheran Church.
"We look at it as a good way to make some friendships among our Protestant neighbors and to give thanks for the good things that God is doing in our lives," Merrell wrote in an e-mail to the Herald-Journal.
