Obituary of Nellie Jarema

Nellie Lorraine Nootbaar Jarema, 80, died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 4, 1927, in Dolton, IL, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick M. and Kate VerWay Nootbaar. She was the wife of the late Stanley Peter Jarema for almost 50 years. Mrs. Jarema was a member of Springs of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Rich Jarema of Howe, IN; two daughters, Debbie Brouette of Easley, SC, and Sandy Fancher of Boiling Springs, SC; a brother, Donald Nootbaar of Markham, IL; a sister, Patsy Knight of Calhoun, GA; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Jarema; three brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be 2-3:45 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Boyd Cook.
