Psalm 133:1-3  How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!  ² It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes.  ³ It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the LORD ordained his blessing, life forevermore.

As I was looking through the psalms for a text for today’s devotion, I couldn’t help but think about the bazaar we had on Saturday.  Now I know that technically the women’s group put it on, but what a blessing to see a whole congregation come together and work together for the benefit of our youth.  As I look at our congregation, I am continually reminded of how fortunate I am to be a part of such a wonderful family.  I see the way we surround each other in prayer during both the good times and the bad, and how we help each other out no matter what the circumstance.  Yesterday would not have been possible if everyone had worked together.  Not only do Diane and Mary Lou deserve the most thanks, but we also thank everyone who came on Tuesday nights, those that prepared items at home, and most of all, everyone who helped work the bazaar.  In the words of the psalmist, “How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!”

In our prayers this week:  Ann, Charles, Norm, Michael (potential deployment to Haiti) and Scott.

God’s Peace,
